Brief Bio / Other Information

Winston Blakely was born in the Bedford Stuyvesant section of Brooklyn. A former schoolteacher, Winston taught art appreciation to inner city children and lectured at Four Towns College on comic book history and pop culture. In 1993, Winston joined Valiant Comics as a house inker where he worked on titles such as Eternal Warrior, Ninjak, Bloodshot Hardcorps, and Solar, Man of Atom. Winston has a number of current projects available online at Pixelstrips.com, including characters such as Little Miss Strange, Kotas, and Pozitron.
